Mindfulness is an ancient practice initially developed in the Eastern world but now frequently adopted in the West. One of the founders of mindfulness in the Western world Jon Kabat-Zinn defines mindfulness as ‘an awareness that emerges naturally when we pay attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment without judgement’. Cultivating attention and awareness are integral to mindfulness practice.

Research into the benefits of mindfulness indicates improvements in focus and attention, emotional regulation and resilience and sleep patterns. Whilst also demonstrating its effectiveness for reducing anxiety and depression, chronic pain, stress, all addictive behaviours and boosting the immune system.

Inner Peace currently incorporate mindfulness practice in the yoga classes and also offer one to one sessions. However Mindfulness groups/workshops will be coming soon please contact for further details or like my facebook page where details will be posted.
