Yoga & Mindfulness Classes Bournemouth

Working as a social worker for 15+years in statutory services I am fully aware of the difficulties we face in our lives. However due to current financial limitations and bureaucracy often social workers are unable to offer a holistic approach to support their clients. This encouraged me to look at different options for promoting positive changes in individual’s lives and inspired me to set up Inner Peace.

I have completed a 200 hour professionally registered yoga teacher training course which has shaped my own yoga practice and changed my outlook on life. I have also completed a professionally recognised mindfulness practitioner teaching programme through the Dorset Mindfulness Centre and have a place to study yoga therapy with The Minded Institute in London (500hrs).

The benefits of yoga and mindfulness practice speak volumes to me, and using these tools; in addition to my counselling skills acquired throughout my social work career, I am able to offer a range of therapeutic interventions to address a variety of physical and mental health conditions. Empowering individuals to make positive life changes is my primary focus whether it is through encouraging physical activity with gentle yoga practice, developing alignment and yoga technique, addressing a range of mental health conditions e.g anxiety, depression or stress or supporting clients to set and achieve their own personal or professional goals.
